DORN SYSTEMS works alongside major international switchboard manufacturers. We also design, program and commission automated control systems for electrical networks at several oil drilling locations and at many petrochemical, chemical and manufacturing facilities located all over the world.

DORN SYSTEMS' experience covers all of the following aspects of electrical plant maintenance:

• Full automation of low-level functions (i.e. changeover, line to emergency transfer, and management of EDG)
• Power level management (including automatic shutdown of generators as needed by load requirements)
• Load shedding (fast shutdown of non-critical processes to mitigate of general plant shutdown)
• Energy management (data generation, analysis of consumption levels and cost evaluation)
• Building automation (lighting scheduling, HVAC plant management.)

DORN SYSTEMS designs, manufactures, and installs control systems that harness the potential of latest-generation technologies (i.e. PLCs, remote I/O terminals, and data exchange and communication protocols). We proudly focus on the creation of control systems that are safe and available.

This approach has led to the use of redundancies on control hardware (two or more PLCs in synch), control networks (redundant cables or fibre optics) and supervisory servers and PCs.
